In Luc's Words
My parents came here from Haiti with a simple truth they taught me early.
Focus on your faith and your community, and the rest will follow.
Growing up, I saw the systems were not built for families like mine. I also saw how people lift people up.
When I saw families in Spokane struggling to find affordable childcare, when I saw gaps in public safety and community services, I didn't wait for someone else to fix it.
That work led to co-founding the Jasmin Group, Parkview Early Learning Center, Northeast Youth & Family Services, and the Washington Childcare Centers Association. I've chaired the Police Ombuds Commission and the Neighborhood Council.
For the past four years, I've represented Eastern Washington under Governor Inslee and now Governor Ferguson.
Now I am running for State Representative to bring that experience, that policy expertise, and that commitment to listening back home.
